Special treats

For Christmas Day, we had red velvet pancakes with cream cheese frosting. Abigail approved of them. Just as a warning, if you use the recommended amount of food coloring, your toddler's stools turn out quite strange.

Here she is licking off the frosting.

For New Year's Day, we had cinnamon roll pancakes which Abigail also loved.

She also made pigs in a blanket on New Year's Day. The ones on the left were made by her and the ones on the right were made by David.  Abigail was going for uniformity in every bite.

Yes, your cinnamon roll pancakes look a lot prettier than mine did. The frosting helps a lot!

And now I see what David meant when he said Abigail wrapped her pigs the long way. He cuts very long strips of biscuit compared to how I do it (there is no way you could wrap my short little strips like that.)

The red velvet pancakes look delicious!
