Frankenmuth

Back at the end of April, we went to Frankenmuth which is known as little Bavaria. It is just as tacky as you would imagine, but not nearly as bad as Gaitlenburg, TN. Our first stop was the world's largest Christmas store. Jonathan only broke one ornament and Abigail did not break any.

Trying on tree toppers.

In the city of Frankenmuth, we went to the cheese haus and also the sausage store. You could also do a search for gnomes that are all over the town, but we did not do that.

I think Abigail's favorite part was her strawberry frozen drink. The food at this place was supposed to be German, but it did not remind me of anything I had had in Germany. We ate a lot of fudge that day.

The Glockenspiel. It has nothing on Munich's.

Overall, going to Germany beats going to Frankenmuth any day, but Frankenmuth is  a little closer.
