Below is our final choice for the outside of the house. The brown in the center is the shack we picked out and the siding is called wicker and it is the thing overlapping the brick. This was by far the most difficult of all the tasks that we had to do which is because it is one of the more difficult things to change about a house and costly. We hope we picked the right combo. If you think it is hideous then let us know. Also, the sample is not in the picture, but the shutters (there is only one set) and the door will be black. The other choices were two greens and a red, we were not brave enough to try one of them, so we stuck with traditional black.
Next when you enter the house there will be a small area with fake wood at the entry and this will be the one with the blue dot. This will also be used on the banister.
The upstairs, the living room, and the dining room will have the following carpet. All of the walls will be painted the color of the paint chip with white accents. I don't know the names of all of these colors, they were not too clever though so you are not missing out on anything.

Next is the kitchen and bathroom. Both will have the following cabinet and flooring. The sample hanging over the cabinet is what our countertop will be in the kitchen. We do not have a sample of what the countertop in the bathrooms will be.
Next this is the rounded edge that the kitchen counter will have. Obviously some of the choices were pretty easy to make.
The blue circles are around the hardware that we picked for the cabinets and drawers. Apparently a new trend is to use knobs instead of handles on drawers. We are not trendy so ours will have handles.
And finally as promised a picture of the contractor. He did not want to be in a picture by himself. He was really getting into the whole picture thing though. Sadly in this picture he is no wearing the hot pink polo shirt.

I think your contractor and Julie make a nice looking couple. He does look like a leprechaun; it's too bad you couldn't capture him in a green shirt. And I love your cabinets. I am not trendy either, so I like the handles.
