Labor Day weekend, we took a vacation to Memphis. Abigail has now traveled the interstates of Tennessee from north to south and east to west. Memphis was quite warm, but we managed. The first day we went to Mud Island. Abigail loved playing in the miniature version of the Mississippi River.
Trapped on an island.
The water got a little deep at parts.
She loved the monorail that took us over the river to Mud Island.
The next day we went to the zoo which was a lot nicer than the Nashville zoo. Here she is in Cat Country.
She loved the meerkats and kept giggling while watching them.
Petting the Komodo dragon.
Panda bear.
She always loves watching the "mingos".
Seals
Polar bear. Clearly she was not interested in looking at the camera for most of these photos.
Giraffes.
Sadly, the fire museum was closed on labor day. They should really post that information on their website. Although, I guess we could have called ahead.
